KARIDO SAS, a French société par actions simplifiée with a share capital of €6,800, whose registered office is at 8 rue de Saint-Pétersbourg, 75008 Paris, France, registered under number 107 620 007 R.C.S. Paris (“Karido”, “we”, “us”), runs this website, karido.io, to introduce the Karido app, manage its launch waitlist and offer an optional newsletter. This page explains what we collect and why. What we collect
If you join the waitlist, we record the email address you enter, the page language, the “landing” source and the sign-up timestamp. Google Firebase also processes the technical connection data needed to receive and secure the request. If you follow the newsletter sign-up button, you reach a Brevo-hosted form; Brevo processes the information submitted and the double-opt-in status under the notices shown on that form. This site does not initialise Google Analytics and does not use advertising cookies or marketing trackers.
How we use it
We use a waitlist email only to let you know when Karido launches and to offer early access. If you separately choose the newsletter and confirm double opt-in, we use your address to send it until you unsubscribe. We do not sell this data and disclose it only to providers needed to host, secure and deliver the requested service. We won't send you unrelated marketing.
Affiliate links
The Karido app contains affiliate product links and this site may also provide them, including in our gift profiles. We may earn a commission if you buy after following one of those links, at no extra cost to you. The retailer or affiliate network (for example Amazon or Awin) may record the click to attribute the sale.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist sign-ups are stored in Cloud Firestore in the European eur3 multi-region. Principal hosting is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (tel.: +353 1 543 1000). Newsletter subscriptions are processed by Brevo. Certain technical services may involve processing in other countries under applicable safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us to show or delete your data at any time: just email contact@karido.io and we'll remove you. If you're in the EU or UK, you have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection.
How long we keep it
We keep a waitlist sign-up until launch, or until you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe; Brevo may then keep the address on a suppression list for as long as needed to honour that choice and prevent unsolicited resubscription.

If this policy changes, we'll update this page; the date above always reflects the latest version.
